Please join “Won” Project to save the world

“Won” in Thai means circular, we then decided to name this project as “Won” which shall always remind us to use plastic to be in line with circular economy concept. “Won” Project welcomes all clean plastic bags and plastic scrap. We are pleased to recycle plastic bags and plastic scrap so that they are reproduced and reused, and we, therefore, could reduce plastic trash to be disposed.
.
How to deliver plastic bags and plastic scrap to Won Project;
Collect plastic bags and/or plastic scrap which is clean and dry. It would be great if you could compress and pack them all into a plastic bag or parcel. Please note that, at this stage, we accept for plastic bags and plastic scrap as showed in the picture only. To notice whether such plastic bags and plastic scrap could be used under Won Project, please try to stretch such plastic. If it could be stretched, Won Project could use them.

The fluorescents were disposed by a machine at the sorting plant in the disposal area of Walailak University. For the battery wastes, they were sent to an authorized company, Recycle Engineering Co., Ltd.

Walailak University has a temporary toxic waste storage to safely store the toxic waste received from the all laboratories (3.5-2). The wastes are stored separately according to their types, such as acid liquid, oil liquid, flammable liquid and toxic solid waste. The total toxic wastes from laboratory are divided into 2 types; there were 4,694 liters of liquid toxic wastes and 1,681 kilograms of solid toxic wastes.
